- IAS TOURNAMENT RECAP 2/4/07
- Great effort to our 4 high school team that we sent to the IAS facility in Greenfield on Feb. 4th. Every team represented our club very well, especially Mass Elite I, who won the entire tournament. The Mass Elite I team breezed through their games against IAS, Agawam and The Bears to earn themselves a second seed in the play-offs. After knocking out Mount Anthony and IAS in the first 2 rounds, they faced the number 1 seeded Raptors in the finals. In a very physical, fast paced game, Mass Elite rose to victory by a narrow margin of 5-4. Coach Beth O'Brien decribed the whole team as 'hard-working and very coachable'. Congratulations to all our teams!
