Glastonbury Tournament
Played by the Men’s Mass Elite Team 1st game: Mass Elite started out a little slow the guys were getting a feel for each other and the level of competition, we lost 6-3. 2nd game: Both goalies were in the zone, they played great! The team did a great job of riding and controlling the ground balls. We figured out that the competition was too strong one on one for isolation play, as is often the case in high school. The more we moved the ball the better we did. This was a very good team with players from Maryland and Syracuse just to name a few. 3rd game: Goalies once again played great! The team continued to gel as the day went on… 4th game: Definitely the most frustrating game of the day, we had trouble clearing the ball and our opponents capitalized on many of our mistakes and penalties. The final was 8-3 Finals: Sunday Playoffs were well played, we made it to the Semi Final Round and lost to the team who won it all. All in all the guys put into the tournament a great 2 days of lax and will only keep getting better!
