“I really liked that tournament it was really fun with not a lot of pressure, you could just play and have a good time. I was on team 4 and we won 5 out of 5 games because or last team left.”

“I think besides the freezing cold weather the tournament was really fun. My team did great and we gelled really quickly. By the 3rd game we were really playing together like a team. We ended the day in 6-0 and I think everyone got something out of it.”

“I thought the tournament was a lot of fun but also a lot of work, especially towards the end. I enjoyed it though!”

“I thought the Wildside tournament went very well. With words from coach V, "being cold is actually all mental. If you believe you are some place warm, then you won't worry about the cold. "With these words from our coach, we, mass elite team 2, played our 5 games without hats and sweatshirts, not being cold and resulting in an undefeated record. We worked together as a team, ignoring the cold and playing our game. Thank you Paula for this opportunity,”

“Thank you so much for having us participate in that tournament. Even though it was a little rainy I still had a lot of fun! Team 3 did very well... I think we only lost 1 game. Kristine and I work well together because we have been playing together since we started lacrosse four years ago. It was a little frustrating when we showed up to play our next game and our opponents never showed up! But that was alright, we still got in 4 games.

All in all, it was a great opportunity to play lacrosse at a high level and it was good to get a feel of what college lacrosse might really be like. Thank you again!”

“Well, I stayed until the end of the tournament which I have to say was a little bit difficult to do. In all, I think the tournament went fairly well. It was ridiculously cold so I think that people would've enjoyed it a lot more if it was warmer that day. Also in the beginning I wasn't very pleased with being on the older team, but in the end I had a lot of fun playing with the girls on team 5. It was a great experience! I think that all the girls there did a great job! If you were just dressed appropriately, the tournament went a lot better!”

“Hi Paula!

I had a great time at the tournament, despite the weather. I think our team (#2) was really well chosen. We had a lot of fun, and really gelled by the end of the tournament. I think its too bad that the last games were cancelled--those might have been the best. I think the only way the tournament could be improved is if there was less waiting time between games, but unfortunately I think this can't be helped in a big tournament like this. I think something Mass Elite specifically could do to improve the quality of the tournament is try to organize practices between the games. Maybe not formal ones, but at least 20 minutes after couple of our games. Thanks for organizing the tournament--I had a great time.”
