Players are responsible for their own travel to University of Delaware.  The closest airport is Philadelphia.  Univ. of Del is about 30-45 min away.  In the past there have been shuttles from the airport to the university but I have no information about that for 2009 yet.  I will let you know when I do.

There are many hotels in the area and can be found at the Univ. of Del website.

Details regarding  Shuttle from Philadelphia Airport to U. Delaware for Hot Beds Lacrosse Tournament

Delaware Express provides shuttle service from Philadelphia airport to U. of Delaware.  When you arrive at airport and collect your luggage and the entire party is together go to the Ground  Transportation Desk in the baggage claim area.  They will give you a ticket.  Dial 24 on the courtesy phone at the desk.  This will connect you directly with the Delaware Express Customer Service Center.  Provide them with terminal letter (usually right on the phone) and your ticket number.   Wait in the baggage area until you are paged by your ticket number to proceed to the outside pick up area (usually zone 7).  Note: this is a shared ride service so there may be additional stops along the way to your destination.

To make a reservation  Go to http://delexpress.hudsonltd.net/res?USERIDENTRY=HOTBEDS&LOGON=GO

However, the site will not be active until around 1 month (~middle June) before the tournament.

The price will depend on the number of people the reservation is made for.  i.e.
1 person traveling on 1 reservation is $38.
4 people traveling on 1 reservation, has the same pick up and drop off time and location is $75   for all 4 or $18.75 per person.
So if you know of others taking the same flight you may want to team up with them and make one reservation.  (Note: multiple reservations even if they all have the same arrival location and time and drop off location do not get the price discount.  They have to all be on one reservation. )

Drop Off Area When you make the reservation you will have a choice of drop off locations from a drop down menu.  Choose Christiana Dr. Hot beds reservation area.  All players will have to go to registration area first to get their room key and meal tickets then proceed to the dorm.  Do not worry about entering directions.  They know them.
